Involvement in the Game Development Community in Manaus
In recent years, I have been deeply involved with the game development community in Manaus, taking on leadership roles in the Amazonas Game Dev Association. My efforts have been focused on fostering the local industry, organizing events, and bringing more people into the world of game development.
Some of my achievements include:
- Organization of the Local Game Jam Plus 2023 and 2024: Events that brought together local developers to create games in a short period, strengthening creativity and collaboration within the community.
- Organization of the Global Game Jam (Ocean Game Jam 2025): With over 100 registered participants and more than 20 games produced, the event has become one of the most significant milestones for the game development scene in the region.
- Organization of "Pitch Days" at the Games Ram Geek event by Rede Amazônica: A space for developers to present their projects and receive expert feedback.
- Organization of "Avenida Indie" at Amazon Tecno Game 2023 and 2024: An indie game showcase highlighting local talent and promoting visibility for regional projects.
- Conceptualization of Annual Game Showcases: Events that have become a reference for the exhibition and celebration of games produced in the region.

As part of Flying Saci Studio, I had the opportunity to embark on a special mission in the interior of the Amazon, bringing the game Matemagos to riverside schools and remote communities. I organized tournaments for the game, introducing children and young people in these areas to the world of games and education in a playful way. It was an inspiring challenge and a beautiful experience that reinforced my commitment to expanding horizons and connecting people through games.
